Today's lesson: only use Lexar memory cards. Calumet's ProSpec rubbish just became unreadable. Looking I've lost all of yesterday's photos.

Bought SanDisk card to get the data recovery software. The registration process wants all sorts of details about me (home phone number, etc) in order to generate an activation code in addition to the serial number glued to the back of the box.
I think I won't be buying anything from San Disk in future just on principle.

OK. So SanDisk's recovery software is weird and hard to install but it works. All is forgiven.
